Psalms 137:1-5

[1] By the rivers of Babylon, There we sat down and wept, When we remembered Zion. [2] Upon the willows in the midst of it We hung our harps. [3] For there our captors demanded of us songs, And our tormentors, jubilation, saying, “Sing for us one of the songs of Zion!” [4] How can we sing the Lord’s song In a foreign land? [5] If I forget you, Jerusalem, May my right hand forget its skill.


1 Peter 2:9

[9] But you are a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people for God’s own possession, so that you may proclaim the excellencies of Him who has called you out of darkness into His marvelous light;
